Wild Ones is a photography series celebrating the beauty and athleticism of the agility dog outside of competition. German pet photographer, Jenny Wintzen, shows the joy and flowing movement of these dogs with striking, hi-speed images.

Mirka Koot’s creative portraits of Ivar and Wodan, are full of colour and expression. The beautiful relationship they have really comes through in these images as the cats interact with each other and the various decorative pieces. They really do make you smile.

Dogs in Barcelona is a photo series by Zuzanna Rudas of Dog on Camera, showcasing the spectacular sights of Barcelona. Dogs of all shapes and sizes have been beautifully posed amongst some exquisite architecture and I have no doubt, one look at these images will have you booking the next flight out!

Kelly Carmody knew exactly how to capture one adventurous family and their snow loving dogs Joey and Cora. What better way to highlight their special relationship than photographing them all enjoying their favourite family pastime. The snow-capped peaks provide the perfect backdrop to this fun client session.

Blossoms, bowties and beautiful light. Can it get any better for us pet photographers? Apparently so! Pair those with a gorgeous rescue, a happy couple in their stunning outfits and you’ve got a fairytale pet photoshoot captured wonderfully by photographer Liese Branders.

Can you get more quintessentially British than photographing a corgi in a little bow tie right in the heart of London? I think not! Bridget Davey’s session with wee Eny the Corgi is a delightful furfilled tour of some of London’s most recognisable landmarks. It doesn’t surprise me at all to learn that Eny gathered a crowd of admirers as he posed around the city!

Bridget Davey is known for her iconic London dog photography - in 2021 her portrait of little Miss Daphne in London won Judge’s Choice and placed in the Top 25. Entries for the 2022 Awards are opening on May 1st, so hopefully we’ll more of Davey’s oh-so-london dog photography featuring again!

Podenco’s are often referred to as ‘Invisible Dogs’ or ‘The Great Forgotten’. They are an ancient hunting breed and sadly are the most abused dog in Spain. Klara is a rescued Podenco, featured in this beautiful urban photosession by Els Decoodt Photography. She now lives in Antwerp, Belgium and if her confident poses during the shoot are anything to go by, she is totally owning city life!

That's The Spot! is a photographic series that celebrates the emotion that pets feel when their hoomans pet them. Photographed by Prathima of Pawparazzi Pet Photography in Mumbai, India, these portraits capture the raw emotion and connection between the subjects to show the unquestionable bond between they share.

This sweet client session features a mother dog and her five curly, seven week old puppies. Photographed by Lotte van Alderen with winter light at a forest in the Netherlands, the warm glow of the sunset has been beautifully accentuated with van Alderen’s soft post-processing style.

Cãorioca da Gema is a photo project the celebrates the dogs of Rio de Janeiro and the incredible, vibrant locations to be found all around the city. Brazillian pet photographer, Daiane Moraes, has created these wide environmental portraits where each location is as much of a hero and subject as the dog photographed.

This mini-series by German pet photographer, Steffi Losse of Wundertüte photography, is a beautiful study light and symmetry by silhouette. We recognised one of these submitted photographs from the Top 100 Pets & Their People Category of 2020 International Pet Photographer of the Year Awards, and Steffi’s other photographs from the series did not fail to disappoint.

We showcased the work of Brazillian pet photographer, Elayne Massaini of Pet Photos, a few months ago (with her Bath Time mini-series). Well she’s back on Featured! again, this time with a bright and colourful series called Paws and Feet.

Portraits of different dogs and cats as they sit faithfully by the feet of their humans are shot against different coloured backdrops. The images are simple and bold, with the studio backdrops carefully chosen to complement each model’s own fashion choices. From the shiny black cat and his owner’s black tattooed ankles, to the pink ribboned Yorkie and her human’s matching pink converse. Massaini has managed to bring so much unique personality into each portrait.

Nicole Begley’s fun series of dog portraits captured with their paws outstretched towards the camera is a tongue in cheek giggle at our selfie-obsessed society.

Some of her #selfie models stare straight down the lens with a model expression fit for the runway, others seem to spot silly grins with their tongues out and not a care in the world - they’re all photographed with the same superwide angle and as a series they won’t fail to bring a smile to your face!

The client session from Suzi Darsa, the Highgate Dog Photographer in London UK, features a bouncy, smiley boy named Freddy (and, of course, his beloved ball!). Suzi is relatively new to the world of professional pet photography, having launched her business in 2020, but is quickly carving out a signature style for her work - her black and white portraits were particular favourites here at the club.
